So I’m just over the moon at the minute! I have lost a stone and a half over the past 5 months!
From a size 16 to a 12! I am so proud of myself that I needed to share :)
Light exercise and eating foods that benefit me. No gym or anything like that. just simple lifestyle changes.
I feel amazing for it -hopefully be a size 10 by summer then that’ll be me sorted.
Happy Halloween everyone!
Sorry I’ve not updated in a while. Been rubbish I know.
Started doodling again today :)
I used to draw so much but I stopped for ages… I think I lost myself. Thankfully feel like I’ve found my muse again.
Got bored of working on other projects so did my own :)
This was my halloween “costume” last year! Took me a good 50minutes to do my make up but think I nailed it.
All I did on this was play around with the levels and saturation of the original photo, created a layer for an old film filter I have, cloned some of my “back bone” to go up to my “skull”, darkened the ring to make it stand out more, and deleted the shine from my nose so it looked more hollow and skull like. (oh and all my nail varnish was chipped so I sorted that.
I was so excited about this coming and getting to try new healthy snacks. I have had a bit of everything to give you my verdict…
SUMMER BERRY FLAPJACK - SO tasty and has made me want to bake some myself, will probably do that at some point in the near future :)
FRUITY MANGO CHUTNEY & BLACK PEPPER DIPPERS - A lot spicier than I thought it was going to be but really really delicious, I fancied something savory so it was demolished in seconds haha. (It also probably isn’t that spicy to normal people but I have the mouth of a baby kitten)
MARVELLOUS MACAROON - I wasn’t too keen on the amaretti drops, tasted like marzipan and I really REALLY don’t like marzipan, however, the almond slices, coconut flakes and white chocolate buttons are really nice together :)
ELEANOR’S APPLE CRUMBLE - Oh my god this tastes amazing!! I love cinnamon A LOT so the cinnamon and honey almonds are the best part of this, but with the raisins, and apple it definitely tastes similar to an apple crumble. I searched online to try and find some cinnamon & honey almonds to buy but all I could find were recipes on how to make your own - may have to do this too when I bake flapjacks :D
I am a bit of a food lover so maybe food/cooking/baking vlogging would be my forte, probably wouldn’t help the ol’ waistline though ;)
be--acidic said: I plan to get dreadlocks in the future and looking at your blog yours are gorgeous. I want to start with just a few underneath like you did but im not quite sure how to do them, could you give me abit of advice?x
Aww thank you! :)
Explaining the method I used is so tricky but I’ll try my best.
There are different methods to start dreadlocks such as; neglect, twist and rip, backcomb, crochet… (I personally wouldn’t crochet ever but that’s me)
1 - get a small section of hair usually 1inch by 1inch squares are advised (but I just grabbed whatever..) make sure you tie back the hair you don’t want dreaded so it doesn’t get caught. 2 - twist hair and split into 2 sections pulling tight to the root 3 - put section together again 4 - twist hair then split into 2 again (not the same split as before) keep doing this making sure you pull tightly and it should start to get knotted.
